Yucca Valley is a medium-sized town located in the state of California. With a population of 21,726 people and five constituent neighborhoods. Unlike some towns where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Yucca Valley is neither predominantly one nor the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both. Only 1 hour from Victorville and Riverside and a mere 35 minutes to Palm Springs. Joshua Tree is a census-designated town located on State Route 62 in San Bernardino County, 50 to 80 miles east of Los Angeles and Orange County. October, April and May are the most pleasant months in the 92252 zip code. Thanks to the community’s wildly popular Joshua Tree National Park, the area is frequented by hikers, outdoor adventurers, and spiritual enthusiasts. Even though this national park is one of the community’s main focal points, Joshua Tree isn’t just a rural area filled with plant life and trees. Joshua Tree has become an extremely popular weekend vacation spot, especially in recent years, so homes that are common in the community are either vacation homes, full-time homes, or short-term rentals. Homeowners might find living in Joshua Tree an ideal spot for relaxing and getting in touch with nature.
Twentynine Palms was named for the palm trees found there in 1852 by Col. Henry Washington while surveying the San Bernardino base line. A post office was established in 1927. A road named Utah Trail honors the late 1800s pioneers on a trail originating in Utah that went to Twentynine Palms. The skies are beautiful. It is a place of extremes. A place like no other, one stuck in time, full of hipsters, hillbillies, desert rats, marines and artists. The most extreme of extremes. But it’s hard not to fall in love with the purple mountains, the starry night sky, the endless empty land. The City of La Quinta is a resort town located in Riverside County, California, specifically in the Coachella Valley between Indian Wells and Indio. La Quinta is almost entirely surrounded by the Santa Rosa Mountains making for specular views from almost anywhere within the city. The name of the city, in Spanish, literally translates into “the fifth”, but also in Portuguese, a “quinta” is a wine producing estate, which can be a winery or a vineyard. If you are searching for the perfect golf course community for a second home or for a full-time residence, La Quinta has one of the best selections of high-end and mid-range golf and country clubs in the Coachella Valley.
If you’re a mid century modern fan, you will be in awe as you drive through the many neighborhoods of Palm Springs. There are technically four neighborhoods —Vista Las Palmas, Indian Canyons, Twin Palms, Deep Well Estates — where you can find many of the famous Alexander Construction homes, built between the years of 1957-1966, which were designed by architect William Krisel. These were highly sought after homes back then due to their function and affordability and are still highly sought after today. Incorporated in 1973, Rancho Mirage began as a rural community and blossomed into a luxury oasis for the wealthy and the influential after the Second World War. Many influential names, such as philanthropists Walter and Leonen Annenberg of the Annenberg Estate (Sunnylands), built resort-style abodes in the city. Following the increasing popularity of Rancho Mirage, more investors came and developed the attractions that would help transform the city as we know it today. This includes many of Rancho Mirage’s golf courses, the Ague Caliente Resort and Casino, and the city’s collection of exclusive gated communities. South Puget Sound & West Sound
Browns Point is an unincorporated community in Pierce County, Washington. Residential homes dominate the landscape, with a significant commercial center in the heart of Browns Point. The area’s dominant marine views and active recreational shoreline contribute to the community identity. The Browns Point Lighthouse Beach and park sits right on a natural point overlooking the Puget sound with Tacoma, Ruston Way and Vashon Island for a background.
While the communities of Browns Point and Dash Point are somewhat distinct geographically, there is a strong combined community identity in the area. Dash Point is a residential area surrounded by Puget Sound to the north, Dash Point State Park to the east, and the city of Tacoma to the south and west. Dash Point State Park is set on the Puget Sound in western Washington and is a popular destination for water recreation. This 461-acre camping park features 3,301 feet of saltwater shoreline. The beach provides unobstructed views of Puget Sound and opportunities for sea-life study. The sandy beach at the park is a relaxing beach getaway near the cities of Seattle, Tacoma and Federal Way.
Federal Way – Marine Hills
Marine Hills neighborhood is located in Federal Way, Washington. Located on Poverty Bay and bounded to the North by Redondo and Adelaide to the South, this water view enclave is nestled in Federal Way and is comprised of many mid century modern homes. The Marine Hills Swim and Tennis Club provides an opportunity to belong to a seasonal, outdoor recreation association with a small-community feel.

Redondo is a community within the incorporated boundaries of the city of Des Moines in King County, Washington. Redondo was initially founded as a resort, but gradually grew to be a middle-class residential community. The community, which is largely centered on Redondo Beach – a small beach with a board-walk, a Salty’s restaurant, and a pay parking lot, was reportedly named by a settler from Redondo Beach, California. It is located near Saltwater State Park along Redondo Beach Drive, this waterfront provides public and boater access. Visitors can comb the beach along the sand or use the wooden boardwalk to take in the scenery.
North Tacoma is located North of 6th Avenue extending down to Puget Sound. Neighborhoods typically considered North Tacoma include: Stadium District, North Slope Historic District, Old Town, Proctor, UPS, Three Bridges. The up-and-coming Central Tacoma, closer to downtown, is a growing area as well, attracting new stores, bakeries and art galleries.
Central Tacoma is bordered on the north by the thriving 6th Avenue neighborhood. Swarmed with dive-to-hipster bars, breakfast spots, fine dining restaurants, coffee bars and mom-and-pop shops, 6th Ave is a walkable destination for Central Neighborhood residents. A farmers market runs in the summer on 6th & Pine. Allenmore Golf course is located in Central as well as the beginning of the Scott Pierson Trail that runs all the way to Gig Harbor. Central Tacoma is a neighborhood that is quickly growing in popularity. It has the historic homes and tree-lined streets that make North Tacoma so popular, but is considerably more affordable. Minutes from Downtown Tacoma and freeways make it popular with commuters who prefer to bus, walk, or bike to work.
Mason County is located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. It is bordered on the west by Grays Harbor County, the northwest by Jefferson County, the northeast by Kitsap County, the east by Pierce County and the south by Thurston County. Shelton is the largest city with a population of 9,834.

Jefferson County is located on the Olympic Peninsula in northwestern Washington state, nestled between the Admiralty Inlet and Clallam, Mason, Grays Harbor and Kitsap counties. It faces the Pacific Ocean to the west and Hood Canal to the east. Named for President Thomas Jefferson, it was created in 1852 from a portion of Lewis County.
The county seat and only incorporated city is Port Townsend. The county is named for Thomas Jefferson.
